Market Stalls

Tagging yes/no

  1. Go into Marcato, select the vendors module
  2. Select the option ‘’not tagged with’’ for either food vendor or market stall.
  3. Ignore the yellow triangle, that’s because they are Unverified. Cannot approve or decline applications in the system just yet, but tagging will help to make this easier later when you can.
  4. If you have already seen apps in your inbox, that’s great, but you can now see them in Marcato.
  5. Select any (or several) of the applications and create a tag – look for the Select a Function, top LH of the list. If you have a play around and want to use a different function, remember to go back to Select a Function (default) before moving to another function.
  6. Select a vendor (or multiple), then use the dropdown as described above.
  7. Select Tag and name it e.g. Kylie yes or Kylie no – this is a screen shot of this function, the tags will need to be created the very first time you tag an entry but after that they will auto-populate once you begin typing.

Next steps

Market stalls forms are ready to go. There are new tags so please only use these one – yes they are long but it makes for a clearer communication. Once these are all tagged we can move to sending order form.

To filter market stalls click on the main vendor page and filter those bcc tagged with Kylie Yes - like this:

You'll now have a list of all the vendors you want. To bulk tag with their relevant stall category, tick each box next to each vendor for the first category you're going to do - in this eg: screenshot it's the Therapy category:

From the “Select a Function” drop down menu, scroll down to the “Tag” and click. A box will pop up for you to find the tag you want to use. Start typing eg: Therapy and a list will appear, select the correct tag for these vendors you have ticked and click the Tag box. This will automatically tag each of those you have selected. Remember to untick those you've just done and then repeat this process for each of the four stall categories.

The new tags to be used are:

  • Artisan Market - $380 includes 2A+2U18 staff tickets
  • Therapy Market - $324 includes 3A+2U18 staff tickets
  • Merch Market - $532 includes 2A+2U18 staff tickets
  • Not-for-profit Market - $110 includes 3A+2U18 staff tickets

Now if you check, all your stalls will have a tag that determines their category+price+tickets.

We should now strip out any tags we don't need - Kylie Yes“ can be removed. Now you can send out the Market Stalls Info 2020 form to them all which will automatically send them a link to check details, order extra power, extra tickets and make a donation if they wish plus add any information notes that you might need to know. To do this select “All” next to the “Select a Function” menu, this will auto tick every entry on the page. From the “Select A Function” menu scroll down to “Market Stalls Info 2020 form” and click. You'll get a pop up box on the screen asking if you want to send it, click yes. That's it. They'll get the link, order their stuff and you'll get an email notification when they've submitted that. I'll (Lou) will also get this notification. Credentials are then assigned for their requirements, approved by Lou and the payment link sent.
